I've loaded a few third party applications like TeamViewer which installed themselves as startup applications which I cannot disable in the system preferences login items. The obvious answer is don't load these apps but that being said, how do I disable them now that they are loaded without uninstalling to prevent them from launching automatically during startup. I can quit them after they launch but I'd like to prevent them from auto-starting during startup. Any insight would be appreciated.😐
Here is the steps to disable TeamViewer from running automatically upon System startup or restart. Launch TeamViewer - Under Unattended Access - Uncheck 'Start TeamViewer with System' Next, a pop up windows appears, where you are asked to disable start with system. After this step is performed, TeamViewer will restart itself. – If u connected with ur WLAN goto Network Manager an open the settings for WLAN. Enter a new MAC Adress in the MAC Clone/Duplicate field. – Teamviewer check ur MAC adress for the LAN Card, too. But when u r not connected with LAN the MAC clone field not works while the LAN is inactive. So u must change the MAC adress like this one in terminal. Open task manager, go to startup and disable teamviewer. That should work. And PC to mobile connections that support Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Chrome OS. To keep the TeamViewer windows service running with Service Protector: Download and install Service Protector, if necessary. Start Service Protector. Select Protector Add to open the Add Protector window:. On the General tab, select the TeamViewer service from the Service to protect pull-down list. Since we have installed TeamViewer 9.0 on our machine, this is called TeamViewer 9.
